Shrub or treelet. Twigs densely loosely appressedly brown-pubescent. Leaves rather densely to sparsely appressed-pilose beneath, especially on the margin, acuminate to caudate with cuneate shortly attenuate base and ciliate, recurved, entire to finely glandular dentate margin, ± elliptic, 4-5½ by 1½-2½ cm; nerves (3-)4-6 pairs, meeting in a looped intramarginal vein but sometimes obscured by the indument; petiole c. 2 mm. Flowers in a (sometimes branched) raceme to 3 cm or solitary, axis red-brown pilose. Pedicel 0-½ rnm (to 4 mm in solitary flowers).
