Leaf 100–300 × 3–11 mm, fleshy, green, base purplish. Flower stem 150–500 × 1–3 mm, 1–10-flowered. Sterile bract usually 1. Flowers 15–20 mm across, usually white, occasionally pale blue. Sepals and petals 6–10 × 3–6 mm. Column 4–5.5 × 2–2.5 mm, white or pale blue; post-anther lobe 2–3 × 1.2–1.7 mm, reddish brown with thin, purplish collar and yellow apex, gently curved, tubular, slightly inflated, hooded, almost entire to broadly notched; column arms converging, 0.8–1.5 mm long, curved sharply upwards; hair-tufts toothbrush-like, white, hairs 0.5–0.8 mm long, covering apex of post-anther lobe.
