Thelymitra luteocilium Fitzg.

Leaf 100–200 × 5–8 mm, dark green, base reddish or purplish. Flower stem 150–350 × 2–3 mm, reddish, 2–6-flowered. Sterile bracts 2. Flowers 15–20 mm across, pale pink to reddish pink, rarely yellowish. Sepals and petals 7–10 × 5–6 mm. Column 4–5 × 3 mm, pinkish to reddish with yellow apex and narrow red or dark collar; post-anther lobe short, semi-tubular, somewhat hooded, irregularly and densely fringed; column arms short, projected forwards or obliquely erect; hair-tufts mop-like, dense, hairs yellow.

Localised; found growing among low shrubs in open forest, mallee communities and open rocky sites in freely draining to moisture-retentive sand and clay loam.
