Characteristics

Leaf 100–150 × 4–8 mm, fleshy, ribbed, dark green, base reddish. Flower stem 150–350 × 2–3 mm, 1–6-flowered. Sterile bracts 2 or 3. Flowers 20–25 mm across, blue with small spots on dorsal sepal and petals. Sepals and petals 10–13 × 7–8 mm. Column 6–7 × 3–4 mm, bluish white; post-anther lobe 1.4–1.7 × 1.8–2 mm, brownish purple with yellow apex, tubular, rim-like, dorsal surface wrinkled, shallowly toothed; auxiliary lobes absent; column arms c. 0.8 mm long, obliquely erect; hair-tufts mop-like, white, hairs c. 1 mm long.
