Productive, upper Amazon hybrid. Origin: USDA-ARS, Tropical Agriculture Research Station, Mayaguez, PR by R. Goenaga, H. Irizarry, and B. Irish. UF 668 × POUND 7; crosses made at the Centro Agronómico Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza, Turrialba, Costa Rica; selected in Puerto Rico in 1997; introd. 2002. Tree: high yielding, ~1,480 kg/ha dry beans. Fruit: seed/pod 35.8; pod index 27.2; 65% chocolate; flavor moderate chocolate with some fruits.
