Plants form straggly clumps with numerous wiry roots. Stems 100–300 mm long, sparsely branched, flattened. Leaves 5–10, 50–70 × 15–20 mm, well-spaced, fleshy, apex rounded, unequally notched. Racemes 120–240 mm long, stiff, wiry, with crowded, spirally arranged bracts. Flowers 16–20 × 17–20 mm, white ageing yellowish. Sepals and petals broadest at base, widely spreading, pointed. Dorsal sepal 8–9 × 3 mm. Lateral sepals 8–9 × 3 mm. Petals 6–7 × 1.5–2 mm. Labellum c. 7 × 4 mm; lateral lobes c. 3 mm long, erect; midlobe thick, fleshy; spur curved.
