Characteristics

Scape usually 16.5-39 cm tall. Inflorescence usually a dense 2-7-flowered cyme with the branches not exposed, or an open inflorescence with the longest single flower-bearing (i.e. ultimate) branch usually 2-15 mm long from axil to base of flower. Flowers sometimes fragrant. Perianth lobes ±obovate to elliptic, spreading, 5-11.5 mm long, 2.2-5.5 mm wide, length : maximum width ratio usually 1.3-2.9, white; both surfaces densely woolly or felted. Filament appendage usually about equal to much exceeding anther tip.
