Characteristics

Leaves with an apical diadem of coloured, sclerotinized bristles. Decumbent shrublet to 4 cm, branches with internodes to 12 cm long, not visible. Leaves ascending, glaucous, papillate, with a diadem, to 17 x 6 mm. Flowers pink, filamentous staminodes white with pink tip, 30-35 mm diam. Fruits 6-locular.
