Characteristics

Perennial, caespitose, dwarf shrublet, up to 0.3 m high, roots fibrous, fusiform. Leaves imbricate, narrow towards apex, glaucous, becoming grey with age, bladder cells as elongated papillae, diadem radiating, cup-cells orange-brown, bristles paler. Flowers solitary, white to pale pink. Capsules not known.
