Characteristics

Flowering axis to 30 cm high, terete, slightly striate, glabrous; branches dichotomous or 3-5-divaricated. Leaves reduced to scales. Umbels 2-11-flowered; bracts scarious, subulate or narrowly deltoid, 1.5-2 mm long, 1 mm wide; pedicels c. 1.5-3 mm long. Sepals oblong-lanceolate, acute, 6-9 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, 3-5-nerved. Petals lanceolate or elliptic, obtuse, 6-8 mm long, 2 mm wide, 3-nerved. Filaments 3-4 mm long; anthers narrowly ovate, 0.5-0.8 mm long. Mericarps apparently obovoid, umbonate; ripe fruits not seen.
