Tricoryne muricata Baker

Flowering axis to c. 30 cm high, terete, hispid; branches clustered, striate or angular, hairy. Leaves linear, 1.2-7.5 cm long, 2-4.5 mm wide, hairy, usually reduced to membranous scales on upper branches. Umbels 3-12-flowered; bracts scarious, deltoid, 1-2 mm long, 0.8-1.5 mm wide; pedicels 2-5 mm long. Sepals oblong, acute, 6-7 mm long, 1.5-3 mm wide, 3-nerved. Petals obovate, obtuse, 8 mm long, 3 mm wide, 3-nerved. Filaments 3.5-4.5 mm long; anthers ovate, 0.7 mm long. Mericarps obovoid, 3-4 mm long, 1.5 mm diam.; umbo absent; pericarp reticulate.

Found mostly in wallum communities and open eucalypt forest.
