An epiphyte or lithophyte with stems 20 cm. or more long, 3 mm. in diameter.. Roots 2–3 mm. in diameter, verrucose.. Leaves linear, unequally acutely bilobed at the apex, 5–14 cm. long, 0.4–0.7 cm. wide, twisted at the base and articulated to spotted sheaths up to 13 mm. long.. Inflorescences 13–17 mm. long, 4–6-flowered; bracts amplexicaul, ovate, 1 mm. long.. Flowers greenish yellow to dull orange; pedicel and ovary 2.5 mm. long, lepidote.. Dorsal sepal oblong, obtuse, 3 mm. long, 1.2–1.4 mm. wide; lateral sepals obliquely ovate, obtuse, 3 mm. long, 1.5 mm. wide.. Petals oblong, acute, 3 mm. long, 1 mm. wide.. Lip 3-lobed in the middle, auriculate at the base, 2.5 mm. long, 5.5 mm. wide; side lobes longer than the mid-lobe, 0–3-toothed on the front margins; mid-lobe narrowly triangular, sub-acute.. Lip auriculate at the base, 3.5–5 mm long, 3-lobed in apical half; mid-lobe c. 1.5 mm long, triangular; side lobes about equal in length or slightly longer than mid-lobe, subfiliform; spur 7–9(12) mm long, straight, very slender.
Leaves 8–15.5 cm × 4–7(9) mm, linear, conduplicate, unequally 2-lobed at the apex, the longer lobe 3–8 mm long (rarely the lobes almost equal), with a thread-like stipule 2–3 mm long at the apex of the leaf sheath.
