Characteristics

Leaves several, borne towards ends of the stems, set c. 5 mm apart, distichous, 2–4 cm × 4–8 mm, ligulate or lanceolate-ligulate, unequally and obtusely 2-lobed at the apex, V-shaped in cross-section, slightly recurved, very fleshy.

Dorsal sepal 4 × 2.5 mm, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate; lateral sepals 4.8 × 2.5 mm, obliquely oblong-lanceolate.
Inflorescences arising on the stem opposite the leaves, 6–10 mm long, 2–6-flowered.
Flowers translucent greenish-white to pale cream, anther cap biscuit-coloured.
