Inflorescence with few flowers developing in rapid to gradual succession on spreading to erect peduncle 5-20 mm long; pedicels 15-30 mm long, 1-2 mm thick, erect to spreading; sepals 2.5-4.0 mm long, 1.7-2.0 mm broad at base, narrowly deltate to ovate, acute to acuminate. Corona ±5-7 mm tall, 5-7 mm broad, raised on short stipe; outer lobes ±2.5-3.0 mm long, 1 mm broad, ascending, narrowly deltoid, acute to broadly obtuse to shortly to deeply bifid (lobules diverging), slightly channelled on inner surface, purple-brown; inner lobes 3-5 mm long, connivent then ascending in narrow column and often recurved towards apices, terete and ± filiform above anthers, obtuse, sometimes with small dorsal gibbosity to laterally flattened horn near base, cream marked with purple.
