Leaves ovate to orbicular, (0.5–)1–5.2 cm long, (0.5–)0.9–5 cm wide, apex rounded to acute, rarely acuminate, base cordate to obtuse, margin 1(–2)-serrate to dentate, stellate-subscabrid to softly hairy on both sides, discolorous; petiole terete, 1–2(–5) cm long, hairy, lacking glands at apex; stipules linear to narrowly lanceolate, 4–6 mm long, hairy..
