A semi-dwarf rabbiteye blueberry adapted to the Gulf Coast and Southeastern U.S. Origin: USDA-ARS Small Fruit Research Station, Poplarville, MS, by S.J. Stringer, J.M. Spiers, and A.D. Draper. T-110 × T-107; cross made in early 1970’s at Beltsville, Md.; selected in 1976, tested as MS-63; introd. in 2004. Tree: semi-dwarf, moderately spreading, medium vigor; flowers approximately 21 d after Climax, providing insurance against late spring frosts; medium – high yield potential; propagation by softwood or hardwood cuttings. Fruit: medium – large; medium-light blue; scar and firmness good, flavor excellent; ripens about 14 d later than Tifblue, over a 6 week period or longer; berry clusters: medium – loose.
