Early season southern highbush blueberry with upright plant habit. Origin: Univ. of Florida, by P.M. Lyrene. FL 84-33 × FL 98-133; crossed 1998; selected 2001; tested as FL 01-173; introd. 2009; USPP 21,553; 7 Dec. 2010. Tree: vigorous; very upright growth habit; early spring leafing; propagates readily from softwood; cross-pollination required; chilling requirement ~300 h. Fruit: large; medium-blue; good picking scar and firmness; flavor mild; very open clusters with long pedicel and peduncles; suitable for mechanical harvest for fresh market.
