Southern highbush. Released in 1994 from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Small Fruit Expt. Sta., Poplarville, Miss.; tested as MS162. FL78-15 (Harrison × Avonblue) × FL72-5. Berry: size medium; scar small; color, firmness, and flavor good. Flowers later than the earliest rabbiteye varieties at Poplarville, but ripens 2 weeks earlier. Origin: Tree: vigorous; productive; spreading; medium height; should be planted with other southern highbush cultivars for pollination. Adapted to U.S. Dept. of Agriculture plant hardiness zone 8.
