A perennial hermaphrodite deciduous shrub. It grows 0.5-1m high.
Origin: in South Haven, Mich., by Stanley Johnston and J.E. Moulton, Michigan State Univ. Introd. in 1967. (Berkeley × 19-H). Cross made in 1948; selected in 1952. Tree: 4 ft high at maturity; moderately spreading; very productive; hardy; can be harvested with machines, provided lower branches are removed each year; branches pliable. Fruit: size medium; round; skin medium blue; flesh firm; flavor good; picking scar small and dry; ripens 10 July at South Haven.
