Tree: growth habit round, compact, and hedge-like; mature size 0.6-1.2 m; leaves dark green, elliptical; new growth reddish tinged; flowers cylindrical to campanulate with moderate amounts of pink anthocyanin before fully open. Fruit: size medium.
