Characteristics

Perennial herb, glabrous or pubescent; stock short; scapes decumbent or ascending, to 10 cm long. Leaves oblanceolate to obovate, dentate or entire; lamina 1.5-8 cm long, 6-30 mm wide. Bracteoles free, to 5 mm long. Adaxial sepals ovate to oblong, 5-6 mm long. Corolla 7-10 mm long, pubescent outside, pubescent inside, without enations, yellow; wings ±to base of adaxial lobes, c. 0.5 mm wide. Ovary with septum c. 1/2 as long as locule; ovules c. 20; indusium depressed-ovate, c. 1 mm wide. Capsule subglobular. Seeds orbicular to elliptic, c. 1.5 mm diam., punctate.
