Characteristics

Tree to 18 (–25) m high. Leaves: petiole 4–9 mm long; lamina elliptic-ovate, lanceolate or oblanceolate, 30–160 mm long, 12–50 mm wide, base rounded, tip acute to acuminate, lateral veins 11–16. Inflorescence up to 65 mm long. Male flowers 2.5–3 mm long, 3.5–4 mm diam.; pedicels 3–12 mm long; sepals orbicular to ovate, 1.2–1.6 mm long; filaments 0.8–1.8 mm long, anthers oblong and 0.6–0.8 mm long. Female flowers 9–10 mm long, 8–10 mm diam.; pedicels 4–23 mm long; sepals lanceolate-subulate, 1.3–2 mm long; ovary 2.8–3.5 mm long, 2–2.8 mm diam.; styles 4.5–6 mm long. Fruit globose, 17–18 mm long. Seeds 9–10 mm long, 5–5.5 mm wide.
