Leaves glabrous; petiole 1–3 mm long; lamina linear to linear-lanceolate, to 12 cm long, to 1.5 cm wide, cuneate, acute to shortly acuminate, discolorous, grey-green above, pale grey-green below; venation obscure. Flowers sickly sweet-smelling. Corolla subrotate, yellow; tube 2–3 mm long; lobes ±obovate, 4–7 mm long, internally papillose. Corona 2–2.5 mm long, forming a crenulate cup around stamens. Fruit 15–20 cm long. Seeds very narrowly fusiform, 10–15 mm long; coma 30–35 mm long.
