Characteristics

Plant 3.5-5 cm tall. Leaves 3, well separated; lowest leaf filiform, 0.4-1 mm wide, not dilated at base; middle leaf dilated basally, with long, tapering apical portion; upper leaf hooding the flower, dilated, with pointed apex. Flower 1, occasionally 2, bisexual. Perianth 4-5 mm long; tepals 6, connate for a fifth of length or less, white, ageing pink; nectaries 2 per tepal c. 1/3 from base, small inconspicuous marginal swellings, more or less flat and discoloured when dried, white, ageing pink. Stamens 1/2-2/3 as long as perianth; anthers 0.5 mm long, colour unknown. Styles free or possibly sometimes connate at base.
