Characteristics

Plant 7-24 cm tall. Leaves 3, well separated or upper 2 close; lower leaf linear, 2-7 mm wide; middle leaf dilated basally, with long tapering apical portion; upper leaf dilated, with short tapering apex. Inflorescence open; flowers usually 3-11, bisexual. Perianth 9-15 mm long; tepals 6, connate for a fifth to a third of length, pink; nectaries 2 per tepal at base, short, elliptic or circular, marginal thickenings with all margins distinct, pink, often appearing as dark pits when dried. Stamens 2/3-3/4 as long as perianth; anthers 1-2 mm long, ?reddish. Styles connate at base or up to 1/2 length.
