Characteristics

Plant 10-26 cm tall. Leaves 3, well separated; lowest leaf slightly to markedly dilated basally, apical portion tapering, 1-3.5 mm wide; middle leaf similar, dilated basally; upper leaf dilated with long, tapering apical portion. Inflorescence open; flowers 1-7, bisexual. Perianth 7.5-11 mm long; tepals 6, connate for less than a tenth of length, white; nectaries 2 per tepal 1/3 from base, ledge-like marginal thickenings with all borders distinct and raised except distal one, white. Stamens c. 1/2 as long as perianth; anthers 0.8-1.5 mm long, dark red. Styles free or connate to 1/4 of length.
