Characteristics

Plant 1.5-8 cm tall. Leaves 3, well separated; lowest leaf filiform or tapering, 0.5-1.5 mm wide, not or slightly dilated basally; upper 2 leaves as in Wurmbea uniflora . Flower usually 1, occasionally to 3, bisexual. Perianth 4-7.5 mm long; tepals 6, connate for less than a sixth of length, white; nectaries 2 per tepal 1/3 to slightly less than 1/2 from base, shelf-like marginal thickenings with all borders except distal one distinct, white. Stamens 1/2-3/4 as long as perianth; anthers 0.5-1 mm long, dark red. Styles free.
