Characteristics

Perennial herb, 100-600 mm high. Stems erect. Leaves with blade narrowly linear-ovate, basal leaves elliptic-ovate, 50-162 x 3-31 mm, midvein prominent, margins scabrid and undulate. Flowers: 4-8-flowered, subspherical inflorescence, 4-12 per stem; corona truncate to linear-oblong flanked by two small auricles at base, cream-coloured; corolla 6-10 x 3-5 mm, reflexed with margins revolute, greenish mauve to yellowish green; Oct.-Apr. Fruit a follicle.
