Leaves few, blade of radical leaves 5-30 x 3-15 mm, elliptic to oblong tapering into a broad flat petiolar part c. 3-15 mm long (roughly half as long as to almost equalling blade), cauline leaves c. 8-40 x 3-11 mm, elliptic tapering into a short petiolar part, all leaves with margins almost entire to distinctly toothed, thinly pubescent, hairs denser towards the base, long (to 2 mm), delicate. Stamens 4, anticous pair exserted, anthers 1.1-1.5 mm long, posticous pair included, anthers 2-2.5 mm long. Stigma 2.5-4 mm long, shortly exserted. Style 14-26 mm long. Ovary c. 3-5 x 0.7-2 mm, nectariferous gland peglike, remarkably long (c. 1 mm), lightly attached to extreme base of ovary. Capsules 10-12 x 5-6 mm. Seeds c. 1.5-1.7 x 1.2-1.5 mm, palest mauvish-grey, irregularly 3-4winged and deeply and very coarsely 'dimpled'. Flowering between July and September, principally in August.
