Annual to perennial herb to 50 cm tall, rhizomatous, decumbent or erect, sometimes in cushions; usually glabrous. Leaves mostly basal, mostly pinnate, sometimes simple. Inflorescence usually a raceme elongating from a terminal corymb. Sepals 1.5–4.5 mm long, usually pigmented. Petals 5–11 mm long, white, pink or purple. Stamens 6. Style 1–3 mm long. Siliqua mostly linear, 1–4.5 cm long, 1–2 mm wide; pedicels erect to spreading, 5–20 mm long. Seeds ovoid to oblong, 1.5–2.5 mm long, compressed, narrowly winged.

Leaves mostly basal, pinnate, of 1–3, rarely 4, pairs of pinnae; pinnae mostly ovate, the terminal lobe broadly ovate, rhomboid or trilobed. Sepals 3–4.5 mm long, often pigmented towards apex. Petals 8–11 mm long, rarely shorter, white. Style 1–2 mm long. Siliqua fusiform to linear, 1–2.5 cm long, 1–2 mm wide, erect. Pedicels erect to spreading, 10–20 mm long. Seeds 1.5–2.25 mm long, narrowly winged.

Leaves mostly basal, simple or pinnate, of 1–2 pairs of pinnae; the terminal pinna broadly ovate to elliptic. Sepals 2.5–3.5 mm long, sometimes pigmented towards apex. Petals 5–7 mm long, white or pink. Style 2–3 mm long. Siliqua linear, 1.5–3 cm long, c. 1.5 mm wide, erect. Pedicels erect to spreading, c. 10–15 mm long. Seeds c. 1.5 mm long, narrowly winged.
Rosette of leaves 2–3 cm across. Inflorescence scape up to 5 cm tall, minutely papillose; flowers oriented to one side. Petals 5–7 mm long.
Inflorescence scapes scarcely exceeding leaves. Petals 3–4 mm long. Silicula some– what cigar-shaped, 1.5 mm wide.
