Characteristics

Perennial herb. Tuber ±30-40 mm diam. Stems 1-2, slender, sparsely branched above, 80-150 mm high, shortly pubescent. Leaves linear, up to about 30 mm long, subterete with infolded margins, sparsely hairy on lower surface, glabrous above. Flowers 1-2, lateral at nodes; pedicels 15-45 mm long, slender. Sepals lanceolate, ±3 mm long, pubescent. Corolla ±7 mm long; tube cup-shaped, apparently slightly 5-ribbed outside with some very fine hairs along ribs, greenish yellow; lobes free at tips, linear, about 5 mm long, with recurved margins, glabrous, with dark tips. Corona arising about 2/3 up staminal column; outer lobes divided into 2 widely diverging, falcately deltoid teeth, minutely puberulous; inner lobes linear, arising from within tube, incumbent on backs of anthers.
