Corolla green, spreading; fused in basal 1/3 into a shallow saucer-shaped tube, 0.5-0.8 mm long, shorter than gynostegial column; lobes spreading-erect, broadly ovate, 1.0-1.5 mm long, apex incurved; inner surface with small thick or clavate hairs at apex. Gynostegial column shortly stipitate. Corona: interstaminal corona lobes dorso-ventrally flattened, oblong, ± 1 mm long, bifid apically, with many hairs; staminal corona lobes linear, 0.7-1.0 mm long, incumbent on anthers, extended beyond and connivent, without hairs. Perennial herb. Rootstock producing fascicled, narrowly fusiform roots. Stem 1, simple, up to about 0.25 m tall, slender, glabrous. Leaves ascending, linear, ±45 mm long, sessile, glabrous. Flowers 1-3 together in fascicles or very shortly pedunculate, extra-axillary, rarely axillary; pedicels 2-4 mm long. Sepals ovate-lanceolate, ±1.5 mm long. Corolla 2-2.5 mm long, lobed to 3, green; tube saucer-shaped, much shorter than staminal column; lobes campanulately spreading with incurved tips, broadly ovate, with small thick or subclavate, weakly attached hairs at tip on inner face. Corona arising 1/4-1/3 up staminal column, producing 5 outer lobes 1 mm long, oblong, bifid, very hairy; inner lobes linear, up to 1 mm long, incumbent on backs of anthers, with connivent-erect tips, glabrous.
Dwarf geophyte to 10 cm with cluster of swollen, fusiform roots; sap clear. Leaves opposite, narrowly lanceolate, glabrous. Flowers 3-4 mm diam., campanulate with very short tube, green, corona pubescent.
