Flowers brightly pinkish.. Calyx winged, wings decurrent on pedicel; tube to 1.5 mm long; lobes lanceolate, 4–8 mm long, 1.2–3 mm wide, acute, margins ± hyaline.. Corolla tube 4–6 mm long; lobes lanceolate to elliptic to oblong-ovate, 7–13 mm long, 2.5–4 mm wide, acute.. Filaments inserted below the throat of the corolla tube, ± 2–3 mm long; anthers yellow, 3.5–5 mm long, spirally twisting on anthesis.. Ovary oblong, 4–10 mm long, ± 2 mm wide; style 12 mm long; stigma bilobed, 1.5–2 mm long, cohering.. Capsule ellipsoid to oblong, 6–8 mm long, 3–4 mm diameter, dehiscing septicidally, style breaking at base.. Seeds numerous, subglobose, ± 0.3 mm diameter, surface reticulate-pitted.
