Leaves 3(-5)-foliolate, petiolate, aromatic, glandular-pubescent; petioles up to 3.5 cm long; leaflets linear-spathulate to oblanceolate-oblong or linear-oblong, 1-3.2 cm long, 2-6 mm broad, becoming progressively smaller towards the inflorescence and grading into the bracts, obtuse to rounded at the apex, cuneate at the base. Inflorescence a terminal raceme, elongating in fruit; bracts similar to the leaves but smaller, sessile, usually 3-, rarely 1-foliolate, glandular-pubescent; pedicels 0.9-2.5 cm long.
