Characteristics

Herb or small shrub to 0.5 m high, unarmed, viscid; glandular hairs globular, scarcely stalked, waxy. Leaves 3-foliolate, the upper ones simple; leaflets cuneate to linear, emarginate to acute, mucronate, to 3 cm long, entire; petiole to 2.5 cm long. Inflores– cence a bracteate raceme; flowers slightly zygomorphic. Sepals ovate to linear, to 5 mm long, glandular. Petals 1–2.5 cm long; claw 3–8 mm long; lamina obovate, yellow. Stamens 6, free, unequal, the longest equal to or slightly shorter than petals; anthers revolute. Ovary glandular. Siliqua linear, straight, horizontal to pendulous, 2.5–4.5 cm long, 2.5–4 mm wide; pedicels to 1 cm long; gynophore 2–6 mm long; valves longitudinal-striate, glandular; style 7–15 mm long. Seeds suborbicular, 2–3 mm long, transverse rugose; aril weakly to strongly developed.
