Characteristics

Annual herb to 25 cm tall, spreading to erect, hairy; hairs simple, flattened, terete or twisted. Basal leaves entire, linear to spathulate, to 3 cm long, almost succulent, non-persistent; cauline leaves similar but reducing in size. Sepals 1–1.5 mm long. Petals 1–1.5 mm long, white or pink to yellow. Silicula 2.5–5 mm long, suborbicular to broadly elliptic, compressed; valves nearly smooth; pedicels spreading to recurved, to 1 cm long. Seeds 1.2–1.4 mm long, elliptic.
