Leaves sessile, sometimes fasciculate in axils, usually ovate-elliptic to lanceolate or sometimes linear-oblong, usually glabrescent; lamina 11-55 mm long, 2-23 mm wide. Flowers in panicles; inflorescence branches to 3 together, 3-5-flowered, 3-12 mm long; pedicel 1-3 mm long; bracteoles linear-oblong, 3-5 mm long. Sepals unequal, hidden by hairs, 1-1.5 mm long. Corolla 8-10 mm long; hairs outside dense, type ii, silvery to grey; wings 1.5-2.2 mm wide, smaller above auricle; calli obsolete. Ovary 2-3 mm long; ovule erect. Fruit 4-5 mm long, glabrescent, ±ribbed, rugose.
