Characteristics

Decumbent to ascending perennial to 50 cm tall, greyish tomentose. Leaves sessile or petiolate, flat, narrowly oblong to lanceolate, dentate, glabrescent above, mostly tomentose below; lamina 8-65 mm long, 3-18 mm wide. Flowes in leafy cymo-panicles; inflorescence branches usually solitary, 3-9-flowered, 9-21 mm long; bracteoles oblong, 4-6 mm long; pedicel 2-4 mm long. Sepals concealed beneath hairs, 0.5-1 mm long or obsolete. Corolla 10-17 mm long; hairs outside type ii, pale grey; wings 3-4 mm wide, smaller above auricle; calli 6-11 per row. Ovary 2-2.5 mm long; ovule erect. Fruit obloid, slightly curved, to 4 mm long, glabrescent, ±ribbed.
