Erect, much-branched perennial 30-45 cm tall, with ivory-white to grey hairs. Leaves sessile, obovate to oblong-elliptic, entire or dentate, tomentose on both surfaces; lamina 7-63 mm long, 4-15 mm wide. Flowers in cymo-panicles; inflorescence branches 4.5 mm long, usually solitary; pedicel 0.5-1.5 mm long; bracteoles oblong-elliptic, 2.5-4 mm long. Sepals obscured beneath indumentum, 0.7-1 mm long. Corolla 6-9 mm long; hairs outside dense, type i, ivory-white to grey; wings 2.7-3.5 mm wide, smaller above auricle; calli 1-3 per row or obsolete. Ovary to 2.5 mm long; ovule very curved. Fruit ±oblique, obovoid, 2-3 mm long, glabrescent in patches.
