Characteristics

Erect perennial to 40 cm tall, yellowish tomentose when young; stem whitish hairy at nodes. Leaves sessile, oblong to elliptic, entire; lamina 0.5-1.5 mm long, 0.5-0.7 mm wide. Flowers solitary or in 1-3-flowered cymes; inflorescence branches to 2 mm long, solitary or in clusters; pedicel 0.5-1 mm long; bracteoles oblong, 1-1.2 mm long. Sepals to 0.5 mm long. Corolla to 10 mm long; hairs outside appressed, type iv, yellowish; wings 1.5-2 mm wide, smaller above auricle; calli 5-9 per row. Ovary c. 4 mm long; ovule erect. Fruit not seen.
