Characteristics

Decumbent to ascending perennial to 40 cm high, tomentose. Leaves sessile, oblong-obovate or oblong-elliptic, the lower ones oblanceolate, entire, sometimes glabrescent above; lamina 7-35 mm long, 3-13 mm wide. Flowers in axillary cymes or racemes or solitary; inflorescence branches solitary, 1-3-flowered, 6-23 mm long; pedicel 1-3 mm long; bracteoles oblong to narrowly elliptic, 2-5 mm long. Sepals with long not appressed hairs, 0.2-0.7 mm long. Corolla 9-12 mm long; hairs outside not appressed, type i and ii, dark grey; wings 1.2-1.5 mm wide, usually shorter above auricle; calli 4 or 5 per row. Ovary 2.5-3.5 mm long; ovule erect. Fruit ellipsoidal, 4-5 mm long, ribbed beneath hairs.
