Characteristics

Ascending perennial to 60 cm long, pale grey tomentose. Leaves sessile, sometimes fasciculate in axils, oblong to narrowly elliptic, recurved, dentate, glabrescent above; lamina 6-23 mm long, 2.7 mm wide. Flowers in cymo-panicles or solitary; inflorescence branches 2-4 mm long, usually solitary with 1 or 2 flowers; pedicel 0.5-1.5 mm long; bracteoles oblong-elliptic, 1-1.7 mm long. Sepals hidden beneath hairs, linear-oblong, 0.5-0.7 mm long. Corolla 6-7 mm long; hairs outside short, silky, type i and few long type ii, white; wings 1-2 mm wide, short or obsolete above auricle; calli ±obsolete. Ovary 1.5-2 mm long; ovule erect. Fruit not seen.
