Characteristics

Erect, branched subshrub to 40 cm tall, grey-hairy. Leaves cauline, sessile, lanceolate to oblong-elliptic, entire, hairy in patches or ±glabrescent; lamina 8-25 mm long, 2-6 mm wide. Flowers in leafless racemes to 14 cm long; bracteoles oblong to elliptic, 1-2 mm long; pedicel 1-3 mm long. Sepals 1-3 mm long. Corolla 8-10 mm long; hairs outside closely appressed, short, type i and iii, grey; wings 1-1.5 mm wide, smaller above auricle, with prominent appendage below auricle; calli obsolete. Ovary to 3 mm long. Fruit ovoid, to 4 mm long.
