Characteristics

Ascending to erect perennial to 60 cm tall, whitish or yellowish tomentose. Leaves sessile, elliptic to obovate, often dentate, glabrescent above, closely grey or yellowish tomentose below; lamina 15-47 mm long, 5-15 mm wide. Flowers in cymo-panicles; inflorescence branches 9-20 mm long, 2 or 3 together; pedicel 1-1.5 mm long; bracteoles linear-oblong, 1.5-6 mm long. Sepals obscured by the hairs, 0.7-1.4 mm long. Corolla 10-12 mm long; hairs outside loose, type i and ii, grey; wings 1.7-2 mm wide, smaller above auricle; calli 2-7 per row. Ovary oblong, 2.2-2.5 mm long; ovule curved. Fruit obovoid, slightly oblique, 3.5-4 mm long.
