Characteristics

Erect perennial to 40 cm tall, with close greyish or brownish tomentum. Leaves cauline, sessile, linear-terete to narrowly lanceolate, entire, thick, glabrescent; lamina 8-25 mm long, 2-6 mm wide. Flowers in leafless racemes 8-15 cm long; bracteoles linear, 2-2.5 mm long; pedicel 1-3 mm long. Sepals 0.5-2 mm long, closely tomentose with short grey hairs. Corolla 10-12 mm long; hairs outside short, type i to iv, grey; wings 2.5-3 mm wide, short and tapering towards apex above auricle; calli 2-4 in each row. Ovary 2-3 mm long. Fruit obovoid, to 4 mm long.
