Calyx produced into a tube, bearing 2 conspicuous, persistent adnate bracteoles, lower part of tube adnate to ovary. Petals deciduous. Stamens 10. Disc on floral tube opposite ovary, bilobed, gland-like. Style free, as long as corolla. Ovules 14–20. Fruit unknown.
