Environment

Mountain forests, 1500-2000 m. The Celebes specimen, much smaller than those from Borneo and the Philippines, was found at 2900 m, in dry open Vegetation (Eyma 959); it lacks a stipe. It agrees better with D. mollis than with New Guinea species (it is certainly not D. blumei), but without more complete material its status is doubtful.
