Characteristics

Acaulescent herb forming a rosette, no more than 2 cm tall. Leaves spathulate, 7-15 mm long, glabrous, petiole and blade well defined; stipules 1-2.5 mm long, 4-6-partite; petiole 3-7 x 0.8 mm; blade widely obovate, 4-7 x 2-5 mm. Inflorescences 1-2 per plant, 5-9 cm long, 1-4(-7)-flowered; peduncle erect, 3-8 cm long, with long non-glandular hairs and smaller glandular hairs. Flowers with sepals narrowly ovate, free from base, 3-6 x 0.8-1.2 mm, margin entire, with long non-glandular hairs and smaller glandular hairs outside; petals pink, spathulate, 6 x 1.5-2 mm; stamens 4-5 mm long; pollen unknown; ovary with 3 styles, bipartite near base. Seeds foveolate (immature), 0.3-0.45 x 0.14-0.16 mm, covered with granular wax.
