Herb with tuber; vertical stolon 4–5 cm long. Stem erect, simple, 20–45 cm long, glabrous; lower part with scattered, short, subulate prophylls. Leaves 10–30, scattered; lamina conical, pendent, 5–8 mm diam., peltate, on slender, deflexed petiole 10–15 mm long. Inflorescence a panicle, 3–10-flowered; pedicels 4–20 mm long. Sepals ovate, 6–8 mm long, fringed with long, glandular hairs, otherwise glabrous. Petals obovate-elliptic, 12–15 mm long, creamy-white. Styles 3, 2–2.5 mm long, each dichotomously divided into many filiform segments.
