Characteristics

Tuberous herb; vertical stolon 3–6 cm long. Stem climbing, 40–80 cm long, glandular in upper part. Leaves in alternate groups of 3; lamina narrowly crescentic with acute angles, peltate, on slender petioles, the median 3–4 cm long, the laterals 6–11 mm long. Inflorescence a terminal panicle, 10–15-flowered; pedicels 5–15 mm long, glandular. Sepals narrowly obovate, fimbriate to pectinate, 3–5 mm long, glandular. Petals narrowly obovate, 6–10 mm long, white. Styles 3–4 mm long, dichotomously divided from base into many segments.
